Keep It Constitutional collects a limited amount of personal information to ensure that you, and all Keep It Constitutional users, are able to receive the most value that you can from services offered by Keep it Constitutional. The personal information that Keep It Constitutional may collect about you could include your name, your contact details (including your telephone number and your email address(es)), your gender, your date of birth and other information which may assist us in providing our services and monitoring who is utilising them.

 

In order to ensure you are able to receive Keep It Constitutional’s services in the way that will best suit you, Keep It Constitutional may collect information about your activity on the Keep It Constitutional website.     4. If, at any time, you provide personal information or other information about someone other than yourself, you warrant that you have that person’s consent to provide such information for the purpose for which you provide it to Keep It Constitutional.

    1. The primary purpose for which Keep It Constitutional collects information about you is to provide services to you and to meet relevant legal or regulatory obligations. Keep It Constitutional may state a more specific purpose at the point Keep It Constitutional collects your information.
    2. If you do not provide Keep It Constitutional with the information that Keep It Constitutional requests, we may not be able to provide you with Keep It Constitutional’s services. For example, if you do not provide a telephone number, Keep It Constitutional will not be able to allow you to participate in any WhatsApp broadcasts that Keep It Constitutional may host.

  • How Keep It Constitutional discloses your personal information

 

    1. Keep It Constitutional may disclose personal information, and you consent to Keep It Constitutional disclosing your personal information to all sponsors of Keep It Constitutional. Personal information may be transmitted, stored and processed in a country other than South Africa.  
    2. Keep It Constitutional may also disclose personal information, and you consent to Keep It Constitutional disclosing your personal information, to third parties:
      1. Engaged by Keep It Constitutional to perform functions or provide products and services on our behalf;
      2. That are Keep It Constitutional’s agents, business partners or joint venture entities or partners;
      3. That sponsor or promote any competitions that Keep It Constitutional conducts or promotes;
      4. Authorised by you to receive information held by Keep It Constitutional;
      5. As part of any investigation in relation to you or your activity, including:
        1. If Keep It Constitutional have reason to suspect that you have committed a breach of any of Keep It Constitutional’s terms and conditions, or have otherwise been engaged in any unlawful activity, and Keep It Constitutional reasonably believe that disclosure is necessary to the Police, any relevant authority or enforcement body, or your Internet Service Provider or network administrator.
    3. Including but not limited to Keep It Constitutional’s external advisers or potential or actual bidders or their external advisers as part of any transfer of all or part of Keep It Constitutional; and/or
    4. As required or permitted by any law or regulation.

Keep It Constitutional may employ third-party companies and individuals due to the following reasons:

    1. To facilitate Keep It Constitutional’s website;
    2. To manage Keep It Constitutional’s social media accounts
    3. To provide facilitate Keep It Constitutional’s services on Keep It Constitutional’s behalf;
    4. To perform Website-related services; or
    5. To assist Keep It Constitutional in analyzing how Keep It Constitutional’s website and services are used

Keep It Constitutional wants to inform you that these third parties may have access to your personal information that is necessary for them to perform the tasks assigned to them on Keep It Constitutional’s behalf.     3. However, you acknowledge that the security of communications sent by electronic means or by post cannot be guaranteed. You provide information to Keep It Constitutional via the internet or by post at your own risk. Keep It Constitutional cannot accept responsibility for misuse or loss of, or unauthorized access to, your personal information where the security of information is not within Keep It Constitutional’s control.

    1. You may seek access to, or seek to update or correct, the personal information Keep It Constitutional holds about you. This access shall become subject to the Protection of Personal Information Act.
    2. Keep It Constitutional will require you to verify your identity and to specify the information to which require access or updating or correction.
    3. Keep It Constitutional requests that you keep your information as current as possible so that Keep It Constitutional may continue to improve the services  you receive from Keep It Constitutional.
    4.
